I like this stuff. Trying new software for the business is something I do constantly, and AI has turned that from an occasional afternoon into a weekly one. Half of what I read about never gets used, but knowing what is out there is the part of the job that pays for itself.
Directories are not scarce. What is scarce is comparison that answers the question you actually have. If you want to know how two tools differ on one specific thing, the pricing tiers, the integrations, the export limits, the language support, you end up with a dozen tabs open, reading two marketing pages written to avoid exactly that comparison, and guessing.
SaaSInspector is built the other way round. The comparison is the product and the reviews sit underneath it, so the answer arrives as a difference you can see rather than as two pages you have to hold in your head at once.

Every category has its own ranking, scored against criteria written for that category, so a video tool is judged on what a video tool needs to get right.
Put up to five tools side by side and they line up column by column, with the same fields in the same order, including the ones where the vendor gives no answer. Around that sit search across the whole catalogue, saved favourites, category pages and a news section covering the industry.

Scores are going in one category at a time. Each tool gets a mark out of ten against the criteria written for its category, and its card shows where that puts it in the category, the criterion it does best on and the one it does worst on.
Beside every score is how much of it comes from facts the vendor has published, and the date they were checked. A score built on 79 per cent of the facts says so, rather than reading the same as one built on all of them. Readers can now leave a rating of their own on each review.
Built for phones.
Every page works on a phone. Comparison takes up to five tools, on a phone or a desktop. There’s a light and a dark mode, switched from the header.
